Injection to help reduce exacerbations due to COPD. Duration is 14 months with 17 office visits and will require pulmonary function testing, CT, Chest X-ray, etc. Must be taking 2 to 3 types of medication for COPD and have suffered an exacerbation (worsening of COPD needing antibiotics or hospitalization) in the last 12 months. Smoking history must be greater than 10 years. Compensation up to $1275.
