Hot Flashes

The purpose of this study is to check for effectiveness and safety in treating hot flashes associated with menopause. This is a phase 3 study.

Study length: 

14 months with 18 office visits; compensated with $75 per visit up t0 $1125

Study Procedures: 

Blood work, ECG, mammogram, transvaginal ultrasound, endometrial biopsy, ediary.


  • Women ages 40-65
  • Confirmed menopause: absence of periods for at least 12 consecutive months -or- less than 6 months with an FSH result of 40 or less
  • Moderate to severe hot flashes 7-8 times within 24 hours
